Beloved ✢ Handmade Bracelet / Brooch

Inspired by 19th century love letters this needlepoint was intended to mimic a wax seal- stitched in a way to make “Beloved” look imprinted into the tapestry. I gave it two bullion cords to imitate dripping wax and paired it with a paper-white ribbon.
I made it to be a bracelet but was pleasantly surprised by how cute it was as a brooch- so I’ll send you a safety pin with it! In the photo I simply tied it to the top buttonhole of my blouse.

This is an entirely hand made item: the body is needlepoint (tapestry), stitched to a fabric backing and accented with bullion trim. The ribbon can be removed as well!
Due to this being a handmade item there are some imperfections, though that’s part of its charm~

It measures about 1x2.75 inches, and the ribbon about 31 inches.
